This snack has everything you need - it's sweet, salty, spicy, and savory. Lightly coat mixed nuts with olive oil and sea salt with a little ginger and cinnamon, add some spice to add a little kick, then lightly roast in your oven.
Mixed nuts are the perfect fuel for your mind and body, especially when you're on the go and can't stop for a meal. I get that Paleo can be tough to maintain when you're hungry at work or school, so storing a few emergency snacks like this are perfect for keeping your energy up and staying focused.
I know, nuts are high in calories, but they come with amazing health benefits to improve body and brain function. A few handfuls contain high amounts of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which have a long list of health benefits.
Don't let the calories scare you away, nuts are slow digesting, high-protein foods, which means it keeps you fuller for longer periods of time. Just control your portion size and you'll get to enjoy all the healthy and delicious benefits!
